Blind Love (Kara Sevda) won Jury Special Prize at Seoul International Drama Awards. Burak Ozcivit and Hilal Saral got the prize together.
Hilal Saral stated that “We are honored to see that our story has got beyond the borders of our country and has been awarded by our sister country, beautiful South Korea. Our country loves Korean dramas, as well as I do. I think that our common feeling is love and that’s why we are feeling too close to each other. I am very thankful for the prize.”
Burak Ozcivit, on the other hand, started his statement by saying Hello in Korean language. He stated that “We are very thankful for the prize. We are so happy to see that what we have done in Turkey has gotten back to us with a prize from another country. I am taking this prize on behalf of Blind Love (Kara Sevda) team. Thank you so much, Jury. I also send my greetings to honorable Turkish people who stand upright strongly despite all the problems that they have experienced. How happy is he who says I’m Turk!”
