It is so surprising to see that Tuba Buyukustun is one of the alternatives for the Princess Jasmine role. We believe that she can successfully portray the strong-willed Princess Jasmine role with her black hair.
Disney will make its live-action remake of the animated 1992 classic Aladdin. The movie would be directed by Guy Ritchie.
Disney is attempting to cast the classic tale with authentic actors, but could not manage to cast yet despite auditions worldwide. It is known that Disney could not choose its leading actor and actress among 2,000 candidates. Many twitter users started to comment on this and came up with plenty of suggestions.

As for Princess Jasmine? Priyanka Chopra and Jade Thirlwall are very popular on Internet.
The criteria of Disney include an age range of 18 to 25 and the ability to sing with dancing skills “a plus,” while emphasizing that the characters are of Middle Eastern descent.
Recently, HuffPost has listed the names of actors and actresses that could play the characters that are traditionally ethnic.
According to HuffPost, it is not challenging at all to find actors and actresses to play Aladdin and Princess Jasmine.

According to Disney criteria, Tuba Buyukustun does not qualify the age range determined as 18 to 25. And, we don’t know her singing and dancing skills. But, we know that Tuba Buyukustun can successfully portray Princess Jasmine with her dark skin and black hair.
